Flavour and format

Rush's fruit-led slim pouches, such as Blueberry Ice Light and Mango Ice Light, share identical ratings: fruit 7/10, mint 2/10, sting 4/10. The mint is barely there. So if you want the fruit to lead, these are the ones to look at; pick by fruit preference.

VELO's minis differ more. Bright Spearmint Mini rates mint 6/10; Simply Spearmint Mini rates 5/10, both with a sting of 4/10. They're close, so go with Bright if you want the stronger mint.

The format lines up with this. Rush's slim is the consistent choice for a mellow fruit; VELO's mini is the varied choice, with a wider flavour range. Choose Rush for predictability, VELO for a broader range in a mini format. The decision is consistency versus variety.

Common questions

Rush is manufactured by DHOLAKIA TOBACCO, the same company behind Paz, another brand we stock. VELO is produced by BAT. If you've used Paz or other BAT products, that's the closest thing to a preview of what these pouches feel like. Otherwise, the manufacturer is a minor detail next to the differences in pouch size and price.

Rush's flavour names aren't always a reliable guide. RUSH Peppermint Ice Light is the only Rush can that rates mint 7/10, so it's the clear pick if you want a mint-forward pouch. RUSH Wintergreen Light rates only 2/10 for mint, matching the four fruit-led Rushes (Blueberry, Grape, Mango, and Watermelon all rate fruit 7/10, mint 2/10). So if a mint kick is what you're after, Peppermint is the Rush to choose; if you prefer a gentle mint that tastes closer to the fruit line, Wintergreen does that.
