How we picked these

Every Glick can we stock is 4 mg per pouch, so strength never decided this list. What separated the flavours was our tasting data on sting, mint, and fruit, plus the price per pouch. Thirteen Glick cans work out at CA$0.85 a pouch; the one exception is Ice Mint Light Series at CA$0.75.

For fruit, Citrine Grape Light Series hits fruit 10 out of 10 with a sting of 6, so it is the boldest grape. Lemonberry Light Series also scores fruit 10 but sting 3, giving a smoother berry-lemon. If you want a softer berry, Black Currant Light Series (sting 3, fruit 8) is the mellow pick.

On the mint side, Ice Mint Light Series is the clearest value: CA$15.00 a can, CA$0.75 a pouch, with a sting of 7 and mint of 8. The other mint options, Sweet Mint and Triple Mint, run CA$17.00 a can, or CA$0.85 a pouch, so Ice Mint gives you the same flavour family for less per pouch.

The picks

Cocoberry Light Series and Pink Fusion Light Series round out the berry side. Cocoberry scores fruit 8 out of 10 with a sting of 4 and a mint rating of 2, so it tastes like a straightforward sweet berry with little cooling. Pink Fusion is close on sting (4) but fruit drops to 7 and mint rises to 3, giving it a slightly cooler finish. If you want a berry with a faint cooling edge, Pink Fusion is the one; if you want the purest berry taste, Cocoberry.

Sweet Mint Light Series and Triple Mint Light Series are the remaining mint options after Ice Mint. Both are flavoured mint, both run CA$17.00 a can, and our tasting data doesn't give them separate sting or fruit scores, so the choice comes down to name and preference. That leaves the Light Series with three flavour families — berry, grape, and mint — and the picks above cover the ones our tasting data separates most clearly.

How to choose between them

Cans display two figures: milligrams per pouch and milligrams per gram. Compare brands by milligrams per pouch, since pouch weights differ.

Portion size describes the pouch, not the strength. Slim pouches are narrower and sit flatter under the lip; regular portions are wider and hold more material; mini portions are shorter.

• Light — 1.5–4 mg per pouch (177 cans on our shelf). Where to start. Enough to feel, mild enough to sit with for an hour.
• Normal — 4.2–6 mg per pouch (76 cans on our shelf). The everyday strength — enough to feel without taking over the afternoon.
• Strong — 6.3–12 mg per pouch (244 cans on our shelf). A firm kick and a real tingle. Not a first pouch.
• Extra Strong — 12.5–20 mg per pouch (93 cans on our shelf). Heavy hitters for a tolerance that is already built.
• Super Strong — 22.2–30 mg per pouch (70 cans on our shelf). Serious doses, for a tolerance that is already well established.

All Glick orders — to Canada or the US — ship from one address: 1751 Savage Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1R1. You must be 21 or older to buy, and prices display in the currency you're browsing in: a US visitor sees USD, a Canadian sees CAD.

Free shipping is automatic on orders over CA$100. Glick single cans run CA$15.00–CA$17.00, so a one-can order won't reach the threshold, but a multi-can order of Glick will. If you only want a couple of Glick cans, combine them with other brands — we stock 1102 single cans across 74 brands — to cross CA$100 and get free shipping.

The CA$100 threshold is set in Canadian dollars, so US customers should factor in the exchange rate when deciding how many cans to order. All nine Glick flavours ship the same way, so the delivery fee won't influence which flavour you pick — that's decided by tasting notes and price per pouch, as covered above.

Common questions

How strong is Glick? Every can we stock from the brand is 4 mg per pouch, putting it at the top of our Light band (1.5–4 mg per pouch). The eight Light Series cans use a 0.5 g pouch, so the strength is 8.0 mg per gram. Labelled strengths on our shelf run from 1.5 mg to 50 mg per pouch, so Glick is on the gentler side compared with the Strong and Extra Strong bands.

How many pouches per can? The eight Glick Light Series cans each hold 20 pouches, so each can carries 80 mg of nicotine. That's CA$0.85 a pouch for thirteen of the fourteen Glick cans we carry; Ice Mint Light Series, at CA$15.00 a can instead of CA$17.00, is CA$0.75 a pouch.

What flavours are there? The Glick range spans berry, grape, mint, fruits, menthol, blackcurrant, coffee, energy drink, and passionfruit.
