The share of sampled licensed pharmacies that stock an authorized nicotine pouch, and whether a pharmacist intervention actually occurs at the point of sale.

No fieldwork has been carried out. The provincial table publishes the denominator only, because a pharmacy count is a fact and a stocking rate is a measurement.
The methodology below is fixed and published in advance, so that when collection does run the result cannot be shaped after the fact by choosing a favourable definition. Until then this page shows no figures — an estimate here would be indistinguishable from an observation, which is the failure this whole section exists to avoid.
Methodology, sources and limits
- What a row is
- A stratified sample of community pharmacies by province and by urban/rural classification, contacted on a fixed script, recording stock status and whether pharmacist intervention was offered.
- Update cadence
- The upstream source changes quarterly. This page is as fresh as its last build, shown above — not as fresh as the source.
Known limitations
- Requires contacting individual pharmacies. The denominators in the provincial dataset are the sampling frame, not a substitute for the survey.

Our compilation — the selection, the joins, the derived columns and the charts — is published under CC BY 4.0. Reuse it, including commercially, with attribution. The underlying government records carry their own terms, named beside each source above; nothing here overrides them.
