Canadian Online Market Compliance Audit
Last updated August 31, 2026Not yet collectedVersion 1.0.0Compiled by the Nicotine Pouches Canada editorial team
A structured audit of Canadian-facing websites selling nicotine pouches, recording authorization status, strengths listed, age verification and cessation claims.
No data collected yet
The audit instrument is drafted but no sample has been drawn. An audit whose sample frame is undocumented produces headline percentages that cannot be defended.
The methodology below is fixed and published in advance, so that when collection does run the result cannot be shaped after the fact by choosing a favourable definition. Until then this page shows no figures — an estimate here would be indistinguishable from an observation, which is the failure this whole section exists to avoid.
Methodology, sources and limits
- What a row is
- Canadian-facing retail websites offering nicotine pouches, audited on a fixed instrument and reported in aggregate.
- Update cadence
- The upstream source changes annual. This page is as fresh as its last build, shown above — not as fresh as the source.
Known limitations
- Results would be reported only in aggregate. Naming individual retailers that have not been the subject of a published official action is outside what this hub will do.
- This site is itself a commercial retailer in the category and would be audited on the same instrument and reported in the same aggregate.
Licence and reuse
Our compilation — the selection, the joins, the derived columns and the charts — is published under CC BY 4.0. Reuse it, including commercially, with attribution. The underlying government records carry their own terms, named beside each source above; nothing here overrides them.

If a figure here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say what changed. Email [email protected]. Corrections are recorded on the page rather than applied silently, because a dataset that changes without a note is one nobody can cite twice.
