1. What you earn
You earn 30% commission on every order you refer. One rate, the same on every tier, from your first order. It is calculated on your commission base, which is what this section sets out.
Your commission base is a fixed share of the products in the order, after any discount applied — a promo code, your own code, or a bundle. Tax is never part of it and neither is shipping: tax belongs to a government and shipping belongs to the carrier, which is the same line every other part of this shop draws. The products figure is the discounted one, what the customer was actually charged, because paying on a list price nobody was charged would pay you commission on a discount we gave away.
The share is fixed, and that is the part worth holding on to. It does not change with the product, it does not change with what a shipping label cost us that day, and it does not change between orders — so your figure and ours cannot drift apart.
And you never have to take it on trust. Your dashboard prints four figures side by side for every order — the products, your base, the rate and the commission — and so does the email we send the moment a sale lands. 2. Applying, and being approved
- Applications are reviewed by a person, normally within one business day. You get an answer either way.
- Nothing works until you are approved. Your referral code is reserved on your application from the moment you send it, but a link built from it credits nobody until we approve you.
- There is no fee, no minimum audience and no exclusivity. The review is about where you would promote, not how big you are.
- One account per email address. Applying again does not create a second account — it just means we already have your details.
3. How tracking works
- Your link sets a first-party cookie. A click credits you for 90 days to start with, and longer as your cleared sales add up — up to 365 days.
- Your code is the other route, and it needs no cookie at all: whoever types it gets 10% off full-price cans and the order is credited to you.
- A click beats a code. If someone arrives on your link and then types another partner’s code, the order is yours — the click is the earlier and stronger signal.
- Last click wins. If someone later clicks a different partner’s link, that order is theirs.
- Attribution is fixed to the order when it is placed. If your account is paused afterwards, you still earn on orders already referred.
- Tracking depends on cookies. Somebody who blocks them, clears them, or buys on a different device cannot be credited by a link, and we have no way to recover that after the fact — which is the practical argument for using your code as well.
4. Tiers, and what they change
Every tier pays 30%. What cleared sales buy is a longer tracking window, nothing else:
- Standard — 90 days. Where everyone starts.
- Silver — 120 days. At 10 cleared orders and CA$250 of cleared commission.
- Gold — 180 days. At 40 cleared orders and CA$1,200 of cleared commission.
- Publisher — 365 days. At 120 cleared orders and CA$4,000 of cleared commission.
“Cleared” means paid out, or past its 30-day hold with no refund — never orders merely placed. A wider window applies to clicks already in flight, not only new ones. A tier is never taken away automatically: if a refund drags you back under a threshold you have already crossed, you keep the window.
5. When you get paid
- Commission is recorded as soon as an order is paid, then held for 30 days to cover the refund window.
- After the hold it becomes payable and goes out on the next payout run.
- A refunded order reverses its commission — if it has not already been paid out. Once a payout has been sent, it is yours. We do not claw payouts back later.
- We pay by Interac e-Transfer, PayPal or crypto, to whatever you gave us. You can change it any time before a payout by emailing us.
- You are responsible for your own tax on what you earn. We do not withhold anything.
6. What you must not do
These are terms, not guidance:
- Self-referrals earn nothing, and refunded orders reverse.
Everything you say about these products while carrying our link is something we answer for, which is why every application is read by a person before anything goes live.
7. Ending it
Either of us can end this at any time. If we pause or close your account for breaking the rules above, commission already earned and past its hold is still paid; anything still held is forfeit. We may change these terms, and we will email you before a change takes effect.
